Solution
Occasionally there are updates to the pricing center, which require some new files to be downloaded and replaced on the PC before the pricing center can proceed. Typically, the issue is permissions to the folder mentioned in the error, preventing the new file from being downloaded and/or replaced.
Before proceeding, make sure your PC is set to show hidden files and folders, outlined in the following article: How to show hidden files and folders in Windows
Solution 1: Give User full control to the folder. Note: You may need your IT team to perform this function if you do not have admin permissions to the PC.
- Save any work and fully exit Worksheet.
- Open Windows file explorer.
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\CAP\Worksheet
- Right-click on the CloudPricingModules folder and choose properties.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select Users and click Edit, then give Users full control to this folder as seen in the image below.
- Then reopen Worksheet and test if the issue is resolved. If not, attempt solution 2.
Solution 2: Sometimes a file may be corrupted in the module folder. Try deleting the folder of the specific pricing center module your error is displaying.
- Save any work and fully exit Worksheet.
- Open Windows file explorer.
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\CAP\Worksheet\CloudPricingModules
- Delete the folder name here that matches the module name displayed in your specific error message.
- Reopen Worksheet and test if the issue is resolved.
Solution 3: If after this, you are still getting the same error, there is a possibility some security or antivirus software could be preventing the download of the required files. .DLL files are needed to be downloaded and on occasion we have seen a customer's antivirus falsely consider this as a threat. Have your IT team review this possibility. Should you still require assistance, please reach out directly to our support team.
