If you are needing to export a project from CET into Worksheet you should use the OFDA XML 4 file format instead of SIF. The latest versions of Worksheet and CET have updated versions of the OFDA XML format that allow accurate data import from CET into Worksheet. Tags from CET will appear in the Worksheet Alias 1, 2, and 3 columns.
Requires:
Worksheet version 2023.2 or newer
CET Version 14.05.01 or newer
- From CET's Order export dialog choose OFDA XML Purchase Order 4 to create a Worksheet compatible XML file.
- Once you have the XML file created from CET, Open Worksheet to a new blank document.
- From the File tab, choose Import Center.
- Select OFDA XML 4.0 and click Import.
- Select and open the XML file. The specification will then be opened in Worksheet.
Notes:
- To import into Worksheet correctly the XML file must be created in CET Version 14.5.1 or newer. For help on creating the file in CET or verifying your CET software version you will need to reach out to CET support.
- To correctly import the file into Worksheet you must be using Worksheet version 2023.2 or newer. Please refer to the following article How to check your office software version.
