The QuickSearch functions if you type directly into the QuickSearch box, but it does not activate if you type directly in the part number field of a new line item.
Example: Using the QuickSearch Feature directly in the Part Number field of Worksheet.
To enable QuickSearch in the part number field
- Click the Tools tab and then choose Preferences.
- Click the QuickSearch button located along the left edge of the Preferences window.
- Make sure the box is checked next to Display the suggestion list when typing in the worksheet's Part Number field.
- Click OK and test if that resolved the issue.
Note: The setting indicated below must be enabled to use the QuickSearch directly in the part number field.
