Issue
You experience slow performance when interacting with 3D objects. Moving the mouse cursor over 3D objects causes AutoCAD to temporarily freeze.
Solution
You can change the following cursor settings to optimize for performance.
- Type rollovertips on the command line and press enter. Set this to 0 and then press enter.
- Type selectionpreview on the command line and press enter. Set this to 2 and then press enter.
- Type dynmode on the command line and press enter. Set this to 0 and then press enter.
It is also a good idea to very that hardware acceleration is enabled in AutoCAD.
- Type graphicsconfig on the command line and press enter. Confirm Hardware Acceleration is set to On.
