Going to the file menu and selecting Open results in the following error in Giza.
Cannot open file
PD:CDB
File extension not recognized. Do not know how to load this file type
This error is usually caused if your CDB folder preferences are pointed to an invalid folder, or a location you do not currently have access to, like maybe a network you are disconnected from. It then gets set automatically to PD:CDB.
Go to the Tools men and select Options.
Click the Files Tab.
Then click the button that says Advanced.
Inspect the location that is currently set for your Drawing Folder CDB. Make sure its correct and you can access it outside of Giza.
If it's an invalid location, a location you cannot access, or is set to PD:CDB then use the browse button to set it to the proper folder where you normally save your CDB files.
Then click Apply and Ok.
