Giza: Edit options dialog does not open from the drawing

Problem: 

You choose Edit Options on an item in the drawing, but the Options dialog window never opens. 

Cause: 

There is a known issue that if the Giza application is initially opened directly from a file, such as by double clicking on a drawing file, the Options dialog window will not open during that session. To avoid this issue, you should first open the Giza application directly, and then open your drawing from within Giza using the File menu. 

Solution: 

1. Save your drawing and fully exit the Giza application. 
   
   
2. Reopen Giza by using the application shortcut icon. 
   
   
3. Once Giza is opened, go to the File menu and choose Open. 
   
   
4. Select and open your drawing from here or using the recent file list.  
   
   
5. Once the drawing is opened, verify you can now edit options on an item.
