Description:
You are attempting to install Giza onto a computer. You ran the Office installation and it is complete. You see the Worksheet icon on the desktop, but not the Giza icon.
Solution:
Giza likely was not selected when you first ran the installation. This results in the Worksheet and Visual Impression getting installed, but not the Giza application. You will need to run the installation again in modify mode and select Giza to also be installed.
- Run the setup.exe from your installation source to begin the software installation again.
- The setup should run in a maintenance mode giving you an option to Modify, Repair, or Remove the program. Choose the Modify Option and go Next.
- The Custom Setup screen shows which programs were installed. Any program with a red X next to its name was not installed.
- Click the red X next to Giza and then choose "This feature will be installed on the local hard drive." This should remove the X and put the disc drive icon next to Giza which marks it for installation. Now go Next and begin the installation.
- When the installation is complete, Giza should then be installed along with Worksheet.
