The Dynamic Block Palette allows users to insert pre-drawn symbols for single & double doors and windows. Symbols inserted from the Dynamic Palette are dynamic blocks representing basic doors and windows. They can be inserted on walls and the user can determine the appropriate wall thickness, door swing direction, angle of opening, and hinge location by selecting the block and using the Properties command.
You need to be in 2D Drafting & Annotation Basic mode to use the Dynamic Block Palette.
-
From the Office ribbon, in the Block Info group, click Dynamic Palette.
-
Click the symbol you want to place in your drawing (door, double door or window) and bring it to your drawing.
