Giza: Walls Do Not Show in 3D

Issue

You draw a wall in Giza but it does not appear in 3D.

Solution

When you draw a wall in Giza, the default setting should create both a 2D and 3D version. Sometimes the setting to create 3D walls gets turned off and as a result the walls are only visible in 2D. You can quickly generate the 3D version of your walls by following the steps below:
 

1. From the Walls tool palette, click the Remake Walls icon as indicated in the image below.
   
   
2. Nextx click the button 3D Generation.
   
   
3. This will generate the 3D versions of your walls.

To ensure that any new walls you draw create a 3D version automatically:

1. Click the Green Clipboard button as seen in the image below.
   
   
2. Check the box Create 3D and press OK.
   
   
3. New walls you draw will then create a 3D version automatically.

Note: The above tools and settings only work for walls created directly in Giza. These settings have no effect on imported walls from an AutoCAD DWG file.
