Giza: Dimension Lines Do Not Show a Value

Problem

When creating and placing a dimension line in Giza, the distance value does not appear above the line.

Solution

Verify the following settings and then try creating the dimension line again.

• On the dimension toolbar make sure V-pos is set to Above.
  
  
• Then go to the Tools menu, choose Options, and then select the Units tab.
  
  
• Make sure Drawing Scale is set to 1/4" = 1' 0"
  
  
  
  
• Click OK.
  
  
• Create a new dimension line to test if the issue is resolved.
