You can make text in your drawings scannable using any mobile device with a camera by using the Generate QR Code tool.
Tip: If do not have a QR enabled camera for your mobile device you can find free and commercial programs on the various app stores that will allow you scan QR codes using your phone or tablet.
Generating a QR Code
- To get started, click the Express ribbon tab up top and then select the command Generate QR Code.
- Enter your desired text information in the content section of the Generate QR Code dialog. In this example we will be entering a URL to our company website. You could also click the Get information button to select a text object in your drawing to have that information automatically populated into the content section for you.
- Click the Generate QR Code button to place the QR Code into your drawing.
