This article will describe a process to import layout tabs from another drawing to use in your current drawing.
- To get started, right click one of your existing layout tabs and choose From Template.
- The Select Template From File dialog will now appear. Set the File type Drawing Template (*.dwt) if you will be importing the layouts from a template file or set it to Drawing (*.dwg) if you will be importing the layouts from another drawing file.
- You can now browse and open the drawing file or template that contain the layouts you would like to import into your current drawing. When the Insert Layout(s) dialog appears, select one or more layouts and click the OK button.
- The layouts you selected will then be imported into your current drawing and available to use.
