Catalog Express: ERR: 20 - Not loaded Database Manager

Issue

When trying to open a catalog or import a SIF in Catalog Express the following error presents:

(ERR: 20 Not loaded Database Manager)

Cause

This is typically caused by a permissions issue on your computer. The issue may start after installing certain Windows security updates.

Solution

Run Catalog Express as Administrator.

1. Right-click on the Catalog Express shortcut on your desktop.
   
   
2. Select Properties.
   
   
3. Open the Compatibility tab.
   
   
4. Check the box to Run this program as an Administrator.
   
   
5. Click OK.

Open Catalog Express and it should now work correctly.
