Report designer
The quickest way to create a report design is to use any of the Standard report designs available and then save it as a user report design.
- Click
on the Standard toolbar.
- In the Look in field, browse to the folder Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CAP\StandardReports.
- Click Open.
- From the File menu, select Save As.
- Beside Save In, browse to the user report designs folder. By default, this should be My Documents\CAP\UserReports.
- Type a new file name.
- Click Save.
Advanced report designer
In the Advanced report designer you can convert existing reports or standard reports, you can then further edit these in the Advanced report designer.
- In Worksheet > Tools select Advance Report Converter.
- Select Browse, navigate to the location of the existing report and click Open.
- Check the location for your Advanced reports and select Convert.
- In the Advance Report Converter Summary you will see if the file was successfully converted. Select Close.
- Select the tab Report and click Manage Report Designs in the Advanced Report section.
- Select the report and click Edit.
- This will open the Designer.
