or from choose File, Save from the menu bar. The Save Drawing or file dialog box opens.

In the Save in field, note that the file is being saved in the CDB folder this path can be changed to the desired location.

In the Save as type Field, note the type of file you are saving. In this example, you are saving a .cdb file.

In the File name field, type in the name of your file.

Click OK.
Note: Catalog symbols are saved locally in the drawing to prevent symbols not showing up when a catalog is missing or changed.
