Cap Complete: restore the Layer Properties manager window

Problem

You open the Layer Properties Manager but the window does not appear.

Solution

1. Type CUI on the command line and press enter.
   
   
2. Expand Workspaces in the upper left portion of the Customize User Interface window.
   
   
3. Select the (Current) workspace.
   
   
4. Expand Palettes in the upper right portion of the Customize User Interface window.
   
   
5. Select LayerPalette.
   
   
6. In the lower right portion of the Customize User Interface window set Display to Yes and set Direction to Left.
   
   
7. Click Apply and then click OK.
   
   
8. The Layer  Properties Manager window should reappear on the screen.

Tip: The above instructions were written for Cap Complete but the same basic steps can be used in standard AutoCAD / Cap.
