Worksheet templates allow you to store your column settings, price adjustments, customer, and order information.
Moving these files to a new computer will require you to locate the template files so that you can then transfer them to your new computer for use.
Note: Worksheet Templates have a file extension of .Template.
To determine where your existing template files are stored on the old computer go to the View tab, select Templates, and then Manage Templates.
The Default Folder will indicate where you can find the Template files.
Go to that location and you will see your Templates. You can now copy those files and place them into the Default Template folder on the new computer.
To verify your Template location on the new computer, open Worksheet. Then go to the View tab, select Templates, and then Manage Templates.
Make note of the Default Folder for templates on the new computer.
Paste your template files into that folder. They should now be available to use.
Network Shared Templates
Some companies may have a standard set of template files they would like all users to have access to. In the Manage Worksheet Templates dialog shown above you can customize the location for Worksheet templates by using the ... button. This would allow you to choose a different folder location for your templates. Template files could then be placed in a shared network folder. All users could then go to the manage templates dialog and change the default folder location to the shared network folder that contains the template files. This would then allow all users to use the exact same set of Worksheet templates.
