Display Nodes
Furniture items in Giza have nodes on them to assist in snapping them together. For example, a rectangular work surface would normally have a node on each corner where other surfaces or panels could be attached. While not required to snap items together, it can sometimes be useful to see the various nodes and snap points of the furniture.
The steps below explain how to make the nodes visible.
- From the Tools menu select Options...
- Select the Display tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- Place a check mark next to Draw Nodes.
- Optionally adjust the size the nodes will be displayed by using the up or down arrows (8 is the default size).
- Click Apply and then OK.
- Click the refresh drawing
button on the toolbar.
- Any Giza furniture in your drawing should now display an X for each node location.
If the are not visible, check Draw Nodes in Options...
When nodes are visible, a small X will be displayed on the furniture item indicating possible snap points.
