Dynamic Block Palette
Windows and Doors can be added to your drawing from the dynamic block palette. The dynamic block palette command was added to Cap Complete starting with the 2022.0 version.
The icon to activate the palette is currently only on the Office Ribbon if you are using the 2D Drafting and Annotation Basic workspace.
The palette can be activated from any workspace by typing the command CAPXSHOWDYNAMICBLOCKPALETTE
Symbols inserted from the dynamic block palette are dynamic blocks representing basic doors and windows. They can be inserted on walls and the user can determine the appropriate wall thickness, door swing direction, and hinge location by selecting the block and using the Properties command.
Adjusting the Block
Once you insert an item into your drawing from the palette you can make adjustments to it via the properties palette. You can use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+1 to toggle on and off the properties dialog if needed. With the block selected, make common adjustments such as the Wall Thickness, Door Size, Hinge, and Swing settings from the Custom section of the properties palette.
