When placing openings in Giza you have the ability to define the Width, Height, and Head Height.
The Height is defined as the height of the actual opening.
The Head Height (Head Ht:) is defined as the height of the top of the opening from the bottom of the wall.
Example: A Single Door opening placed in a wall with Height and Head Head both set to the same value. This is most common.
Example: A Single Door opening placed in a wall with the height set to 7' but head height set to 8'. Resulting in the opening 1 foot above the floor. Tip: Head Height can never be set lower than the height. That would result in the opening being placed below the floor. Giza will present the following error if this is attempted.
