Worksheet: Multiply quantities on worksheet lines

You can quickly update the quantities of multiple worksheet lines at the same time using the Multiply Lines feature. This eliminates the need to manually recalculate quantities when making bulk quantity adjustments.
When you apply a multiplier, Worksheet automatically updates the selected quantities and recalculates any associated totals.
 
The Multiply Lines feature:
  • Multipliers apply only to Products, Standards, and Panel Builders. 
  • The multiplier does not work for Outline items.
  • Only parent items are updated; child items are not modified directly.
  • If worksheet lines are selected, the multiplier is applied only to the selected lines.
  • If no lines are selected, the multiplier is applied to the entire worksheet.
     

Apply a multiplier

  1. Select one or more worksheet lines.
     
    1. Open Multiply Lines from either of the following locations:
      Worksheet > Apply > Multiply Lines on the ribbon.
       
    2. The right-click context menu for selected worksheet lines.
       
  2. Enter the multiplier value.
     
  3. Confirm the action.
Worksheet updates the quantities for all selected lines and automatically recalculates the associated totals.

Example

Before applying a multiplier

The selected worksheet lines have the following quantities:
  • 10
  • 25
  • 15

After applying a multiplier of 4

The quantities are updated to:
  • 40
  • 100
  • 60
Worksheet automatically recalculates any related totals based on the updated quantities.

Standard, Outline, and Panel Builder items

When Multiply Lines is used on Standard, Outline, or Panel Builder items, Worksheet updates the parent quantities and any related child item quantities to maintain consistency across the worksheet.
 
Note: Multipliers are applied only to the selected worksheet lines. Review the updated quantities before continuing with further worksheet changes.
