The Auto-Bracket tool will:
-
Place worksurface brackets, cantilevers, flat brackets, and support legs (when required).
-
Place overhead mounting brackets and ganging brackets where needed.
-
Insert a standard column leg for all worksurfaces which require a leg.
-
Consider any manually placed bracketry as an "override" to the automatic placement logic.
-
Identify pedestals and support panels. It will not place proposed bracketry in locations that coincide with a pedestal or support panel.
-
Cross-check any manually placed bracketry against the required bracketry and mark them if not located correctly according to the automatic placement logic. It will place marks on a special layer. Subsequent runs of the bracket generation tool will not replace manually placed bracketry.
-
For Cap Standard parts, extract the worksurface, overhead, pedestal, and support panel data from the nested block along with the location of any brackets contained within the Cap Standard. It will then use the information as described above to identify required bracket locations. If new brackets are required, the tool will place them outside of the Cap Standard.
-
Replace brackets placed during a previous run of Auto Brackets.
