Before you use the Auto-Brackets tool, make sure that you have properly snapped together worksurfaces, overheads, and panels or structure runs. Also make sure that you have properly snapped Cap workstations into their associated panel runs.

on the Automation palette with a Kimball line current.

2020 Cap will prompt, on the command line, Select Objects:
Select all of the workstation(s) and their associated panels with a window or crossing window.
The tool will analyze all items in the selection set and place the required brackets.
