Click on the Auto button, which is the left-most on the toolbar.
When you first preview an image, Auto is selected as the image type. Auto corresponds to the first image type checked in Visualization Preferences that has an available image. -
Select the image type from the drop-down.
All image types (except text) allow zooming in and out. In addition, if you choose the Live Rendered image type, you can rotate and move the image.
